TRIPLE FLORAL CYLINDERS

EFFECT: The magician shows three elegant lacquered cylinders to be absolutely empty. Then, one by one, he lifts the cylinders to produce three jardinieres filled with THREE DOZEN BEAUTIFUL ROSES!

PERFORMANCE: Show the largest cylinder empty while holding it in the middle with a hand on either side. Since the chromed cylinders lend themselves to flashes of light, you may wish to spin them for effect. Place the largest cylinder over the medium sized cylinder and remove the medium sized cylinder from inside. Hold the medium sized cylinder in the same manner as the largest cylinder, showing it to be empty. Place the medium sized cylinder over the smallest cylinder and remove the smallest cylinder from inside. This automatically transfers the loaded rose bush into the medium sized cylinder.

All that remains is to lift each cylinder to reveal the three jardinieres of roses. For maximum audience reaction, after producing the first two jardinieres of roses, lift the smallest cylinder once again. No rose bush is present. Show the cylinder empty once again. Has something gone wrong? Place the cylinder down one last time and produce the last jardiniere of roses. The magician prevails! CLB
