EFFECT: The magician shows an elegant
chromed cone to be absolutely empty. The magician passes his arm through the empty
cone. He places the cone on a tray. The cone is removed, revealing a HUGE BUSH OF 25
BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS, MUCH TALLER THAN THE CONE. The
Club Show Botania stands 24 inches tall and is 20 inches in diameter.
With our locking pot, it is 30 inches tall.
PERFORMANCE: Begin by showing both sides of the tray. Place the tray on a table, or in the alternative have an assistant hold it. Next proceed to show the chromed cone empty by holding the large end toward the audience. This allows the audience to see through the cone. To further convince the audience that the cone is empty, pass your arm through the empty cone and waive your hand at the audience (a nice touch). Slide the cone onto the tray in a nonchalant manner and QUICKLY REMOVE THE CONE TO REVEAL A HUGE BUSH OF BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS, MUCH TALLER THAN THE CONE FROM WHICH IT WAS PRODUCED. AS SOON AS THE CONE IS REMOVED, STRAIGHTEN THE FLOWER BUSH AND TRAY, AND THRUST IT INTO THE AIR AS HIGH AS THE AS YOUR REACH (AND THE CEILING) WILL ALLOW. This makes the Botania look ten feet tall. STAND AT ATTENTION WITH YOUR FEET TOGETHER, and you will present an image to your audience they will long remember. You will find that the Botania is easy to balance and this method of production is simple to accomplish. Because this effect is so strong, we highly recommend it as the "CLOSER" for your performance. It is bound to produce "OH's" and "AH's" from your audience. CLB
