MARSHALL'S MIGHTY BOTANIA
One of the most tremendous flower
productions in the history of magic, we have built more of these Botanias of this size
than any other. This effect has been performed by a large number of magicians,
worldwide, with complete success. A GIGANTIC BUSH OF FORTY-TWO BLOOMS is
produced instantaneously from an apparently empty cone. ENTIRELY SELF-CONTAINED,
THIS EFFECT CAN BE PERFORMED ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, BARE-HANDED, WITHOUT COVER AND WHILE
COMPLETELY SURROUNDED. IT IS THAT ONE EFFECT GUARANTEED TO GET "OH's AND
AH's" FROM THE AUDIENCE! With our locking pot, this Botania stands over 36
inches in height and is 24 inches in diameter.
EFFECT: The magician shows an elegant chromed cone to be absolutely empty. The magician passes his arm through the empty cone. With the cone in one hand, he picks up a flower pot with the other. The cone is placed on the flower pot. When the cone is removed, revealing a HUGE BUSH OF BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS, MUCH TALLER THAN THE CONE.
PERFORMANCE: For maximum audience reaction, begin by showing the cone to be empty by holding the large end toward the audience. Place the cone on the pot and QUICKLY REMOVE IT TO REVEAL A HUGE BUSH OF BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS, MUCH TALLER THAN THE CONE FROM WHICH IT WAS PRODUCED. AS SOON AS THE CONE IS REMOVED, STRAIGHTEN THE FLOWER BUSH AND POT, AND THRUST INTO THE AIR AS HIGH AS THE AS YOUR REACH (AND THE CEILING) WILL ALLOW. This makes the Botania look ten feet tall. STAND AT ATTENTION WITH YOUR FEET TOGETHER, and you will present an image to your audience they will long remember.
CURTAIN CALL: Because this effect is so strong, we highly recommend it as the "CLOSER" for your performance. It is bound to produce "OH's" and "AHs" from your audience. Botanias can be used in many ways. Some performers place their Color Changing Plumes in the top of the cone with the flower pot already locked in place, and use the Botania to vanishing their plumes. Others drop a single bloom into the cone with the flower pot locked in place, and perform the "Hindu Mango Tree Growth" routine. A word of caution here: if you use a sprinkling can with the "Hindu Mango Tree Growth" routine, fill it with confetti or glitter, NOT WATER. Water can cause damage to the feather flowers of your Botania. CLB
